This is the first session of my quarter sleeve. It is a dedication to my grandfather who has had bad Alzheimer’s for a couple of years and the last time I visited he was unresponsive. To see him like that was incredibly hard and I wanted to get something to remind me of my real Grandfather, not the one being overtaken by such a terrible disease. He traveled all over and had such great stories, and was also in the Korean War (hence the dog tags).

This was done by Bob Lindell at Renaissance Tattoo’s in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
